Almas Heshmati is a Swedish-Kurdish economist. Currently, he is professor of economics at Sogang University and Jönköping International Business School. He is a member of IZA, the Bonn-based Institute for the Study of Labour.〔(IZA - Institute for the Study of Labor )〕
